Join Pack 1280 for our August Hike on Thurs 8/6 @ 6:30PM. Meet at the entrance of the Group Picnic Pavilion. This hike is hosted by Troop 944. There will be glow sticks and s'mores at the end of the hike! We will be hiking on a paved trail towards the end as light dissipates. See you there!

Join Pack 1280 for our annual Boating Event on Sat 8/8 @ 9:30AM. Make sure to get there around 9:30/9:45am to register for boating so that we can all be on the boats by 10:15am. Please meet at the boating dock. 

We will be out on the water from 10:15-11:15am. Bring your ID in order to rent a boat. They have canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats.

Scouts from Pack 1280 will be attending Broad Creek Summer Camp north of Baltimore from July 30-Aug 2. This is a comprehensive camp that includes fishing, hiking, boating, archery, BB shooting, climbing, team building, and much more!

Pack 1280 had a terrific time marching in the Rockville Memorial Day Parade! It was a wet morning, but scouts were proud to represent their Pack in the parade!

What an awesome time in the great outdoors! There was a bit of rain on Friday night, but the rest of the weekend was perfect weather.  Scouts hiked, tied knots, built shelters, made s'mores, cooked hot dogs over the fire, grilled hamburgers, and told jokes around the campfire! Big thanks to Troop 944 for leading many of the activities!
