Please mark your calendars for our Fall Campout at Little Bennett Campground. It will be Fri 10/9 to Sun 10/11. Check-In is on Friday at 4pm and Check-Out is on Sunday at 11am. Our campouts are the highlights of the scouting year! They are always super awesome and fun! There are games, shelter making, campfire program, hiking, s'mores, jumping pillow, and so much more. Food is provided. The cost will be around $60 per family for camping, and around $25 per family for just coming during the day on Saturday.

Pack 1280 will have our October Pack Meeting on Sat 10/24 @ 5PM! This will be an outdoor Pack Meeting at the giant Sycamore tree next to Locust Grove Nature Center. We will have a big campfire and a flag retirement ceremony. Please join us for this yearly fall fun!

Pack 1280 will serve our community by participating in Scouting for Food on Sat 11/7 and Sun 11/8 from 9AM-4PM. There are many families facing food insecurity in Montgomery County. Please sign up for a one hour shift at the Giant to collect non-perishable food items. Remember to wear your Class A uniform. All items will be picked up by Manna Food Center which serves our county.

Pack 1280 is spending the night at the Maryland Science Center on Fri 2/26 @ 5PM! This isn't just a sleepover. Scouts will get an evening of hands-on science, special workshops, a Planetarium show, an overnight stay, breakfast, and an IMAX movie—all before the Science Center opens to the public. The cost is $75. A $15 subsidy is available for the first 40 scouts signed up.

Pack 1280 AOLs, Webelos, and Wolves attend the Broad Creek Summer Camp this year! It was an exciting weekend of swimming, fishing, hiking, archery, boating, shooting, and dancing! What awesome fun!

Pack 1280 had a terrific time marching in the Rockville Memorial Day Parade! It was a wet morning, but scouts were proud to represent their Pack in the parade!
